Issue description

Dear Readers,

Another Journal of Substantive and Procedural Labor Law, organized by ANAMATRA in partnership with LTr Editora, is presented. And, as expected, aspects brought about by the "Labor Reform" continue to be the central focus of this work.

Topics such as collective layoffs, teleworking and the right to disconnect, the flexibilization of workers' rights, and outsourcing are particularly explored in this issue.

Actions directly related to Trade Union Law also gain prominence, such as threats to freedom of association, company committees and their effects on workers' union representation, new directions in union funding, and even judicial decisions that directly affect the union movement.

We intend, therefore, to present the doctrinal and jurisprudential contributions considered essential for the analysis of this union right that emerged after the advent of the Labor Reform,
as well as its impacts across the board, affecting not only unions but also directly and primarily workers.

After all, the constitutional objective of unions is the constant pursuit of improvements for the working class. And, there is no doubt that the fulfillment of this constitutional mission
was directly affected by the provisions of Law No. 13,467/2017.

To our readers, we renew our invitation to this important debate. Once again, we wish you all an excellent read.

March 2019.
